Born in West Virginia, Ben has been writing since a tender age. His non-fiction has appeared in The Atlantic, VICE, Military History, The American Conservative, and other outlets. His fiction has appeared in Terror House Magazine, Sanitarium, Thuglit, Schlock!, etc.
Ben has also done a lot of odd jobs and worn a lot of hats, including: US Navy law enforcement, graduate student, teacher, librarian, legal assistant, office manager, QA engineer, and security guard.
